About this item

This VECTASTAIN® Elite® ABC system is the most sensitive avidin/biotin-based peroxidase system and is particularly important in the localization of antigens present in low amounts or in cases where the cost of the primary antibodies is significant.

With more than 50,000 citations, Vector Laboratories ABC kits are trusted by immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry (ICC) laboratories. The ABC kit system is modular and different variations can accommodate a wide array of primary antibody and tissue species. This kit uses horseradish peroxidase (HRP) in a compact but highly active ABC detection complex. Several kits also use a secondary antibody to target primary antibodies. The ABC complex, once formed, is stable and can be used for several days after preparation.

Delivery: Kit includes Reagent A (Avidin DH) 2 mL and reagent B (biotinylated horseradish peroxidase H) 2 mL sufficient to stain 500 to 1000 tissue sections.
