CD8+ Cytotoxic T Cells fulfill the role of regulating and/or carrying out the body’s immune response by eliminating intracellular pathogens such as viruses, and some bacteria and parasites
CD8+ Cytotoxic T Cells are isolated from mononuclear cells by negative selection using immunomagnetic cell separation procedures. Positive selection is also available at your request.
Upon recognition of an infected cell, the CD8+ T cell initiates apoptosis through the targeted release of effector proteins contained in granules within the T cell.
