They assess the rate of photosynthesis in Elodea and cellular respiration in yeast cells. This curriculum-based activity can be used to fulfill a standard investigation in biology textbooks.

The kit includes a teacher’s guide, a student study guide, material for 10 student groups, and analysis copymasters with background information, time requirements, instructions, data tables for analysis, and study questions.

Ordering information: This kit includes test tubes, corks, disposable pipets, sucrose, bromothymol blue, sodium hydroxide, and hydrochloric acid.
