The AST Liquid Reagent Set is for the quantitative determination of Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST) in human serum
The Hitachi 502 mL kit is for use on the Hitachi 917 analyzer only and for in vitro diagnostic use only. There are six 65 mL R1 Reagent bottles and six 17 mL R2 Reagent bottles in this kit.
The Hitachi 600 mL kit is for use on Hitachi 717, 911, 912, and 914 analyzers and for in vitro diagnostic use only. There are five 100 mL R1 Reagent bottles and two 50 mL R2 Reagent bottles in this kit.
The Olympus kit is for use on the Beckman Coulter AU 400, 480, and 640 analyzers and is for in vitro diagnostic use only. There are six 67 mL R1 Reagent bottles and five 17 mL R2 Reagent bottles in this kit.
The validity of the reaction should be monitored using control sera with known normal and abnormal AST (SGOT) values (C7590/91/92).
