• Exposure to antimicrobials or phenol red unnecessary
• Negative for mycoplasma
• Negative for bacterial and fungal growth

Lifeline® Normal Human Vas Deferens Fibroblasts need not be exposed to antimicrobials or phenol red when cultured in Lifeline® FibroLife® media.

Vas Deferens Fibroblasts are tested for: a) Proliferation: Population growth at various densities, b) Cell Viability: 70% or greater when thawed from cryopreservation, c) Morphology: Normal cell appearance for 15 population doublings, d) Sterility: Negative for mycoplasma and Negative for bacterial and fungal growth, and e) Virus: Negative for HIV-1, HIV-2, HBV, and HCV by PCR.
