Sklarcut™ Metzenbaum-Lahey Dissecting Scissors are used for dissecting and cutting tissue only.

These scissors are not recommended for cutting sutures or drains. Metzenbaum-Lahey scissors tend to be shorter than standard Metzenbaum scissors. Sklarcut™ scissors feature micro-serrations on one blade to reduce trauma when cutting both delicate and course tissue. These serrations assist in securely holding the tissue during cutting and minimizes tissue from slipping so the most accurate and clean cuts can be made. Sklarcut™ scissors are identified by a single gold coated finger ring on the handle of the serrated blade.
