CytoSelect™ Cell Migration (Chemotaxis) Assays are ideal for determining the chemotactic properties of cells

With the CytoSelect™ Cell Migration Assays, no manual cell counting is required. Quantitation of cells is performed using a colorimetric or fluorometric dye in a 96-well plate reader. The 3 µm pore size is suitable for smaller cells such as neutrophils and other leukocytes. Kits are available in 24-well and 96-well formats.

These kits use a Boyden Chamber in which inserts containing a membrane with a defined pore size are nested in the wells of a cell culture plate. Cells are seeded above the membrane and are allowed to migrate toward a chemoattractant in the lower chamber.
