Sklarlite™ Sklarcut™ Mayo Dissecting Scissors are a lighter version of the standard Mayo scissors, that also feature ultra-fine serrations on one blade

While the curved instrument is used for cutting or dissecting dense or deep tissue, and the straight version is used for cutting surface tissue or sutures, both may be used interchangeably depending on procedure and physician preference. Sklarlite™ Sklarcut™ scissors are identified by a single gold coated finger ring for the serrated blade.

The lightweight modification provides the surgeon with greater control and less fatigue, while the micro-serrations reduce trauma as well as hold the tissue during cutting. Mayo Scissors are a versatile instrument that can be used in multiple procedures and settings.

Ordering information: Available straight or curved in a variety of lengths with a standard beveled blade.
