These blotting papers help to ensure quick and efficient transferring molecules from a gel to membrane of choice. These filter papers are manufactured with ultrapure water without additives to minimize possible sources of background signal.

Pierce filter papers are suitable for use with alcohol or other organic solvents commonly used in protein and nucleic acid blotting applications. With certain transfer devices, two thicknesses and several pre-cut sizes provide for optimal wicking, drying and blotting properties. In such cases, one sheet of extra thick paper may be more convenient or effective.

Choose extra-thick filter paper for high capacity blotting or to eliminate using multiple sheets (standard thickness paper for traditional procedures also available).
