Thermo Scientific Pierce Maleimide Activated Horseradish Peroxidase is for preparation of HRP conjugates with proteins, peptides or other ligands that contain sulfhydryl groups, such as reduced cysteines.

This kit contains 5 mg of conjugated protein and can effectively modify 5 mg of immunoglobulin and also contains all buffers and one 10 mL desalting column.

Delivery: Kit contains two modification reagents allowing flexibility in the method of producing free sulfhydryls on macromolecules. 2-MercaptoethylamineHCl is a mild reagent for reduction of IgG and F(ab´)2 fragments. SATA is a sulfhydryl-containing modification reagent that reacts with primary amines to present protected sulfhydryl groups, which can be exposed upon treatment with hydroxylamine.
