Pierce™ Firefly Luciferase Glow Assay Kit, Thermo Scientific

The Pierce™ Firefly Luciferase Glow Assay Kit provides a bright and stable bioluminescence signal (half-life greater than 2 hours) in the presence of firefly luciferase reporters for protein expression assays.

The bioluminescent signal produced by firefly luciferase results from the oxidation of D-Luciferin. The Firefly Luciferase Glow Kit produces an extended light signal correlating with the amount of firefly protein expressed, which is proportional to the activity of the promoter for firefly expression.

: Kit contains Firefly Glow Assay Buffer (5 or 50 ml), D-Luciferin (3 or 30 mg) and 2X Cell Lysis Buffer (6 or 60 ml).
