Sklar's® Piffard Curette is a dermal instrument used for scraping skin lesions and growths such as warts or melanomas.

Single-ended instrument with an oval loop tip

These are made from the highest grade surgical steel and incorporate the finest level of craftsmanship. Superior manufacturing and quality inspection guarantee that Sklar instruments meet the demands of our customers.

The loop is sharp on the inside and blunt on the outside so the lesion can be removed, but surrounding skin is not damaged. A variety of tip sizes are also available to accommodate varying lesion sizes. The hexagonal handle of this type of curettes is heavier and wider than most other dermal curettes.
