Sklar Black™ Gerald Dressing Forceps are thumb style forceps commonly used for placing or removing dressings in many types of procedures

Sklar Black™ Laser instruments feature a non-reflective black polymer coating applied over the sandblasted instrument developed for laser surgeries.

This safe, durable coating reduces laser reflection to less than one-tenth of a percent, ensuring a safer surgical environment for patients and surgical staff.

Although Dressing Forceps were designed to hold materials such as gauze. They may be used for removing foreign objects, or dead tissue from wounds, as well as other small surgical materials such as tubing. Serrated jaws assist in a having a secure hold on items.

Certifications: All Sklar Black™ coated instruments comply with biological testing requirements for cytotoxicity, sensitization regulatory, and ISO 10993 requirements. They also comply with the Pre-Vacuum and Gravity Cycle Steam Sterilization Validation of ANSI/AAMI ST79. Sklar Black™ laser coatings are guaranteed for one year against manufacturing defects.
