The Thermal Slide Starter Set is a microscope slide temperature control system designed for use with upright microscopes

Thermal Slides are 25 x 60 mm, 1 mm thick glass microscope slides with an ITO coating on the underside to facilitate the transfer of heat to specimens on the slide. Slide sets include five slides.

Available as a component of the Start Set or sold separately, the Thermal Slide Controller and Power Supply is an electronic, closed-loop temperature controller interfaced to Bioptechs Thermal Slide carriers. The Thermal Slide Power Supply is wall mountable, with a multi-voltage AC input, 12VDC output power supply. The power supply is UL listed, CE marked, and CSA certified. The Thermal Slide Carrier features a 7.6 x 3.8 cm (3 x 1¹/₂") frame enclosure to hold, sense the temperature of, and apply electrical power to a 25x60mm Thermal Slide. The Thermal Slide Carrier fits all upright microscope slide retainers.
