Delivering results in as few as 10 hours for some matrices, the DuPont BAX System Real-Time PCR Assay for E. coli O157:H7 produces clear yes-or-no results for all known E. coli O157:H7 -including rough strains - after about 65 minutes of processing in the BAX System Q7 instrument. Certified as an AOAC-RI Performance Tested MethodSM for raw meat and produce samples. Validated by AFNOR Certification for raw beef and raw vegetable samples. Adopted by the USDA-FSIS for meat products, carcass, and environmental sponges.

TheHygiena BAX System PCR Assay for E. coli O157:H7 MP is a multiplexed assay that produces clear yes-or-no results for standard and new varieties of E. coli O157:H7 strains in about 3.5 hours of processing in the BAX System Q7 instrument. Certified as an AOAC-RI Performance Tested MethodSM for raw ground beef, beef trim, spinach, and lettuce sample types. Validated by AFNOR Certification for raw beef, pork, lamb, and chicken; raw milk; fruits and vegetables, and ready-to-eat meals.
