About this item

Microseal® 'A' Film is a quick and effective means to seal plates and tubes for standard PCR needs. The silicone-based film conforms tightly to most vessels, including rimless polycarbonate plates and irregular surfaces.

The compliant inner layer is designed to seal tightly during cycling and release smoothly after cycling to minimize the risk of aerosol formation and cross-contamination of samples.

This film is easily cut for use with fewer than 96 wells. Microseal® 'A' Film is not designed for optical use and should not be used in real-time PCR detection systems.

The peel-away liner protects the sealing surface from contamination prior to use.
