AnaeroGen™ Compact is a system for generating an anaerobic environment rapidly to cultivate anaerobic microorganisms.

• No catalyst needed and no water required for activation
• No potentially explosive hydrogen gas produced
• No dangerous build-up of pressure
• Sachet is activated upon opening
• Final atmosphere generated contains less than 1% oxygen, which is ideal for the growth of anaerobes

It consists of an AnaeroGen™ sachet, and oxygen impermeable pouch. Each pouch is large enough to hold four 15 × 100 mm petri plates.
