Darwin Laboratory Freezer Rooms are designed for maximum reliability, efficiency, and stability.
- Modular rooms, featuring "tongue-in-groove" construction
- All major components are pre-wired, pre-brazed, and pre-assembled, ready for quick onsite assembly, defrost requirement minimized by system design
- Rooms are constructed using 10.2 cm (4") insulated panels, R Value 37+, with white embossed aluminum interior surface finishes and white embossed galvanized steel exterior finishes
- Include a 10.2 cm (4") insulated smooth aluminum or stainless steel floor, capable of accommodating up to 317.5 kg (700 lbs.) of evenly distributed weight
These standard freezer rooms will accommodate a –20 °C (-4 °F) set-point with a control tolerance ±0.5 °C, or better. Many are custom-engineered for a wide variety of applications, including freeze-thaw test regimens in accordance with ASTM C666, GMP stability storage from -30 to +5 ℃ (-22 to 41 ℉), wide-range test material test chambers, and mortuary/cadaver storage freezers.
