Human disease state peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) are collected from human volunteer donors under IRB approved informed consent by whole blood or leukapheresis using the COBE® Spectra Apheresis System MNC collection protocol

Serological and Infectious disease testing are performed with each donation. Customers should handle product as if potentially infectious following biosafety level 2 procedures.

This mononuclear cell-rich leukapheresis product (LeukoPak) is extracted using continuous flow centrifugal technology directly into the collection bag. Mononuclear cells are purified using density gradient centrifugation techniques.
