Three systems are available. The Gene Pulser Xcell™ Total Electroporation System is used for electroporation of all cell types, including eukaryotic primary cells, cell lines, plant protoplasts, bacteria, and fungi including yeast. The Gene Pulser Xcell™ Eukaryotic Electroporation System is designed for electroporation of eukaryotic cells and plant protoplasts, and the Gene Pulser Xcell™ Microbial Electroporation System is for bacteria and fungi.
The system includes a main unit, a ShockPod™ Cuvette Chamber, and, depending on your target system(s), a choice of the capacitance extender (CE module), the pulse controller (PC module), or both. Systems with the PC module can be used for any other applications that require high-voltage pulses applied to small sample volumes.
