Standard features include a fixed safety circuit of 550 °C, Hot Top indicator for hot surface warning to prevent burns, exact temperature setting via digital display (LED), a digital error code display, and an elevated control panel for protection against liquid leaks. Also provided is a bushing according to DIN 12878 for connecting a contact thermometer (see 89028-114 series) to enable precise temperature control.

Units meet IP 21 protection class according to DIN EN 60529.
