About this item
Mitochondria dye.
Developed specifically for Mito-ID™ Red mitochondrial stain, but works well with many other stains, such as fluorescein and rhodamine. Causes little or no quenching.
Use of the Mito-ID™ Red Antifade Reagent with DAPI with the Mito-ID™ Red dye, or other stains, significantly extends the photobleaching half-life of the fluorescent stain. The addition of DAPI to the mounting medium allows for staining of the nucleus.
