This receiver is designed for operation at other than atmospheric pressure

Vacuum is applied to the side arm with the T-bore stopcock. The secondary receiver is vented by means of the lower stopcock. The capacity from the bottom of the drip to the stopcock is 2.5 mL. The apparatus has a [ST] 14/20 outer joint at top, [ST] 14/20 inner joint at bottom. Hose connections are for use with 3/8-inch I.D. Both stopcocks are glass. Fabricated from borosilicate glass.
