The adjustable bleed adapter is designed to reduce air flow in the air sampling manifold to prevent a pressure drop across the sampling ports.

The device is normally installed in front of the blower, in line with the manifold. The positioning of the holes in the threaded nylon plug controls the volume of air flow.
