This Protein A starter pack includes a prepacked protein A affinity column and a prepacked desalting column for routine purification of antibodies such as human IgG.

HiTrap™ Protein A HP is prepacked with Protein A Sepharose™ High Performance. This resin is used for routine immunoaffinity purifications of most IgG from ascites, serum, and cell culture supernatant. These HiTrap™ columns deliver high-performance, high-resolution purifications with a binding capacity of 20 mg IgG/ml resin.
For quick pH neutralization of the eluted antibodies, the package also includes a HiTrap™ Desalting column. These columns are prepacked with Sephadex™ G-25 Superfine for high sample recovery and minimal dilution.
Delivery information: Kit contains one HiTrap™ HP Protein A affinity column (1×1 ml) and one HiTrap™ Desalting (1×5 ml) column.
