Durometers
Durometers calculate the hardness of materials based on innate physical properties. Pressing the needle against the material, a presser foot applies a standardized amount of pressure. Based on the resistance opposing this force, the resulting indentation depth gives a corresponding hardness and overall strength measurement. Select from different Shore scale durometers to best fit any non-metallic item and select the correct raw material for unsurpassed manufacturing.
