Fraction collectors permit collection of fractions based on time and volume during the chromatography process. The productivity of chromatography can be increased by running several columns at a time. Fraction collectors have adjustable sample shift intervals and easy-to-read LED displays. Drop counting and indexing is also native to these systems, along with features such as overflow protection, automatic shutoff, and manual advance/reset switches.
