Avantor practices responsible corporate governance by establishing and adhering to best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements and maintaining a high degree of conduct and communication standards. This commitment encompasses conducting business in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; maintaining a high degree of internal conduct and communication standards, notably through our Code of Ethics and Conduct and other internal policies; and engaging with our supplier partners around the world to ensure that they adhere to our high standards.
We have robust programs and standards to foster product safety, quality and legal compliance across our operations. Our management systems, manufacturing processes, services and documentation procedures are crafted to support numerous certifications and regulatory approvals.
Avantor recognizes that we cannot achieve our long-term sustainability goals without the support of our suppliers. Our Responsible Supplier Program embeds sustainability practices throughout our supply chain, actively collaborating, educating, measuring and recognizing our suppliers’ performance across four key topics: climate change, human rights, nature conservation and resource circularity.
The Avantor Business System (ABS) is more than just a set of tools — it is foundational to how we work, empowering our associates to make improvements at the local level. ABS workshops and Kaizen events offer critical continuous improvement, driving enhancements to business processes and strategic breakthroughs that increase value for our stakeholders.
We maintain several policies to ensure that we meet the highest standards in areas such as conflicts of interest, legal compliance, use of Company assets and corrective actions for violations of our Company policy and general business practices.
