Multi-position magnetic stirrers, Variomag Biosystem

Single and multi-position stirrers for up to four vessels. Biosystem models and accessory Biomodul 40 B controller are suitable for mixing culture broths, micro-carrier cultures and cell suspensions. Units provide slow and even stirring to protect cultures.

• Rugged construction with hermetically sealed stainless steel housing, units resist agressive media and can be cleaned under running water
• Biosystem stirrers generate little to no heat so cultures can be gently stirred, avoiding potential thermal damage
• Automatic start up for safe stirrer acceleration
• Can be used at −10 to +40 °C (95% relative humidity), in an incubator or cold room
• Biomodul 40 B controller has highly visible display, adjustable power settings, stirring and pause times with rotation sense inversion. Controller allows synchronised operation of two Biosystem stirrers
