Pertex mounting medium is neutral, colourless and made of a resin, based on butyl acrylate polymer dissolved in xylene. This provides a high embedding quality and enables fast drying.
- Low viscosity formulation, ideal for automatic cover slipping instruments
- Slides exhibit minimal discolouration or drying back
- Refractive index: 1.992 at 20 °C if damp
- Storage life: 2 years
Supplied in a wide-necked, tamper-evident PET bottle.
