This range of portable autoclaves is designed for safety and reliability, yet remain easy to use and maintain. They are fitted with an automatic cut-out to prevent them boiling dry. The lid is removable for full width access, items can either be placed in the inner liner provided or in accessory dressing drums or basket. All models are heated with a 2 kW single internal element. Temperature is controlled by an electronic temperature controller and a PT100 thermocouple. After the sterilising period, a condensing vacuum is drawn to aid drying. This is particularly useful for dressings and drapes.
