Flashpoint testers, Setaflash 8

These testers are automated closed cups with ramp mode that allows the determination of a flash point. The dipping sequence occurs every 1 °C up to 100 °C (every 2 °C rise above 100 °C) until either a flash is detected or the end of test temperature is reached. The ignitor uses a new electrical hotwire (a gas flame option is available). The automatic flash detection system is tuned to ignore halo and other false flash effects enhancing repeatability.

82000-0 closed cup tester: Ambient to 300 °C with ceramic pad.

82100-0 closed cup tester: The ActiveCool function is designed to rapidly and efficiently carry out Flash/No flash tests and extend the measurement temperature range down to 10 °C. Cooling and heating with Peltier cells.

82150-0 corrosion resisting closed cup tester: Corrosion resisting insert in the sample cup.
