The A&D Apollo Precision Series of balances improve productivity and efficiency of your workflows with their user-friendly and innovative features, designed to provide reliable results across a range of environments and applications.
- Impact shock detection (ISD) provides feedback to prevent damage to the weight sensor
- Electronically controlled load (ECL) that enables precision management without using an external weight
- Flow rate display (FRD) make calculating and recording flow rates easier and more accurate
- Automatic self calibration in response to temperature changes or according to set schedules (GX-A)
- User access control (UAC) that password-protects the balance from misuse
- GLP/GMP/GCP/ISO compliant output to meet documentation requirements
- Counting mode with the Automatic Counting Accuracy Improvement (ACAI) function
- Statistical calculation function (SCF) to facilitate the analysis of measurements
Users can select a balance that best suits their applications and budgets from either the GX-A series models with internal calibration or the GF-A series without internal calibration function. ECL is technology which artificially generates a minute load (0.3 to 3% of the balance capacity) by altering the equilibrium state of the weight sensor. In APA, the balance first makes quick diagnoses on whether there is a critical failure (Dia-Check), and then shows a repeatability test result (standard deviation) calculated using ECL. The whole process takes only approximately 1.5 minutes. This is very convenient when users want to evaluate or prove the performance of the balance under a given installation environment, since loading/unloading a weight repeatedly is often cumbersome and time-consuming in certain areas (especially when the balance is confined in a system).
The air pump-controlled internal calibration function allows any user to perform calibration quickly and correctly with one key press, which is useful for daily management of the balance performance or when changing the installation location and wanting to use the balance straight away. The balance can be password-protected in two ways: The first way is to limit the use of the balance to authorised individuals (up to 11 including one administrator) by setting a password for each user. The other is to set a password just for the administrator and anyone else can use the balance without entering a password but for measurements and calibration only.
