NM522 competent cells are recombination-proficient and EcoK restriction-deficient.

NM6522 competent cells are a classic E. coli strain for economical cloning when you don’t need supercompetent efficiencies. NM522 is a recombination-proficient and EcoK restriction deficient host strain. Intrinsic antibiotic resistance aids cell selection after a complete and successful transformation.
