About this item

ISOLUTE® SCX-2 is a propylsulphonic acid based strong cation exchange sorbent with minimal non-polar character. It is used for retention of basic compounds from aqueous samples. These sorbents manufactured using a trifunctional silane and non-endcapped. Analytes are eluted from these columns by eliminating the charge on the analyte (high pH), so this sorbent is not suitable for extraction of strong bases.

Suitable replacement for ISOLUTE® PRS.

Nominal capacity of sorbent: 0,4 meq/g

Delivery: Sorbents are shipped in the protonated form.
