Turbidity Standards

Prior to testing the loss of transmitted light due to scattering particles, calibrate the equipment with turbidity standards for performance confidence. Primary Formazin standards can be used to measure and determine values of all other standards. After establishing stability, the premixed secondary solutions confirm that the meters are operating properly for the best reading clarity. These turbidity standards are routinely used to verify the effectiveness in water treatment processes.
