You searched for: Baths
Routinely used in microbiology laboratories, baths create specific conditions to incubate samples that cannot be subjected to a naked flame. Either analog or digital controls set the constant temperature as well as the stirring or shaking additional operating mechanisms. Typically using water to gently apply heat to contained samples, oil and beads also used when elevated temperatures or more efficient methods are required. The baths may come with lids to stop heat from escaping and prevent outside contamination.

Baths, digital, Clifton Duobaths
Supplier: NICKEL ELECTRO
Two independently controlled unstirred baths are combined in one space saving unit. A painted durable steel outer case houses two corrosion resistant stainless steel tanks, each containing a perforated tray. This digital range is ideal where two different temperatures and immersion depths are routinely required, and for incubation routines requiring minimal heat loss. The heaters are mounted on the underside of each tank giving a totally clear reservoir.

Viscometer heating bath, VB-25G model
Supplier: MEDLINE SCIENTIFIC
The VB-G model viscometer heating bath provides ultra precise temperature control required for kinematic viscosity measurement using glass capillary viscometers. The unit has double tempered safety glass windows in both the sides which provides excellent visibility and has an isolated design of agitator, heater, and sensor by a baffle plate to minimize the turbulence in the bath fluid and also to protect users and samples against direct contact. The vane type stirrer provides optimal temperature equilibrium. The unit can be used in the temperature range from +5 °C above room temperature up to 150 °C.
