Stop a flow stream quickly with these shut-off valves. The bodies are manufactured from either PEEK or ETFE. Both versions feature a PCTFE rotor, making them highly resistant to chemicals. The blue colorant used in some valve configurations has proven not to leach out with common HPLC solvents.

Inline cartridge check valves are designed to limit flow in one direction and deliver a low cracking pressure. Ideal placement for these valves would be on the effluent side of the column to prevent post-column derivatisation agents from flowing back and poisoning the column if the HPLC mobile phase pump were to shut down.
