Embedding Cassettes

Rugged embedding cassettes safely hold tissue specimen submerged in liquid solution for processing. Vented styles feature slot or mesh openings for maximum fluid exchange and draining. With large labeling areas, the embedding cassettes may be compatible with printing devices. Choose between attached hinged and snap on covers to securely lock in contents. Available in various colors for easier identification, the embedding cassettes come in deep or larger models to accommodate any specimen.

IP ActivFlo Biopsy II cassettes

Surgipath ActivFlo Biopsy II cassettes feature a patented 'Fluidic Flow' pore design for maximum reagent exchange. With a 0,67 mm pore size, the cassettes include an innovative V-shape pore design that pulls fluid in and forces air out. The cassettes also feature sloped walls, creating a basket for small tissue management. These two piece cassettes with hinged lids have been designed for the Leica IP C Cassette Printer, with <1% printing error rate.
