Osmometer, semi-micro, K-7400S

The K-7400S semi-mirco osmometer enables the measurement of osmolality as well as the freezing point of aqueous solutions. The proven technology of freezing point determination in combination with the robust and intelligent design of the device allows fast and reproducible measurements.

The instrument is equipped with a peltier cooler and an integrated microprocessor controlling the automated measurement. The freezing point osmometer is a standalone device that optionally can be equipped with a printer. Furthermore, the device can be controlled via the EuroOsmo 7400 software.

Accessories information: EuroOsmo® 7400 is a user-friendly software developed for the freezing point osmometers K-7400 and K-7400S. It allows control of the instruments and recording of the measured data. The software automatically plots the temperature curve for each measurement and calibration and allows saving of the measured values. As with the instrument itself, the user can choose between freezing point depression or osmolality to be displayed also in the software. The data can optionally be exported into xls or txt files for further analysis. For archival storage a detailed analysis report can additionally be printed.
