It offers strong cation exchange (SCX), weak cation exchange (WCX), strong anion exchange (SAX) and weak anion exchange (WAX) phases. Highly cross linked and rigid nonporous polystyrene divinylbenzene (PS/DVB) particles are grafted with a hydrophilic, polymeric layer, eliminating nonspecific binding.
