Buffers
Resisting pH changes, buffers protect samples when acids or alkali is added. Powder and liquid forms efficiently track proteins during electrophoresis isolation and separation. The salty buffers can also be used to calibrate and standardize pH meters for accurate readings. Blocking substances stop antibody attachment to membrane free sites that would produce an interfering background. In various concentrations to fit any need, the buffers may come in liquids or dehydrated formats.

J.T.Baker® Cell Lysis Solution, Biotech Reagent
Supplier: Avantor
J.T.Baker® Cell Lysis Solution Biotech Reagent is a cGMP pre-formulated and ready to use detergent optimized for the extraction and recovery of AAV particles from producer cell lines (HEK293 parental and suspension lines, SF9). J.T.Baker® Cell Lysis Solution is a proprietary blend of nonionic surfactants, free of octyl phenol ethoxylate, which demonstrates comparable performance industry standard detergents while addressing environmental concerns associated with REACH and downstream clearance concerns. Designed for Gene Therapy workflows, this formulation is easy to use and handle as it is ready-to-use, has low viscosity, does not require cold temperature shipping or storage, and is available in sizes to support processes from development to large scale commercial batches. Detail description provided in technical literature.
