The QuEChERS (Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged and Safe) technique is increasingly becoming the technique of choice for the extraction of pesticide residues in fruit, vegetables and other foods. The QuEChERS method offers the advantage of high recoveries, accurate results and high sample throughput, combined with the associated cost savings with low solvent and labour requirements. Yet the procedure is robust and rugged.
