A range of vacuum pump supplies is available to ensure the accuracy and performance of your ICP-MS vacuum system.
- When plasma is ON, check pump oil level every three months
- Maintain oil level between max and min levels on the gauge
- Standard frequency for changing the oil is approximately every six months
Caution: Be careful when changing oil because the oil may have absorbed dangerous substances. The oil in the rotary pump on the interface side of an ICP-MS instrument equipped with a hydrofluoric acid resisting introduction system is especially dangerous. Do not touch with bare hands.
