Pure fibrotic hydrophobic PTFE offers superior handling compared to glass or quartz filters.
- Maximum operating temperature 260 °C
- No absorbtion of acid gases
- PTFE is inherently hydrophobic
Pure PTFE fibers are sintered to improve handling characteristics and to minimise fiber slough-off for minimal downstream contamination.
Applications: Particulate analysis when it is critical that filter media is non-absorptive of acid gases or free of trace metal contamination, separation of aqueous and non-aqueous phases, filtration of hot acids and strong solvents, venting air and gases.
