About this item

This antibody identifies synaptophysin, a 38 kDa membrane glycoprotein. It may be a valuable aid in the examination of various neuropathological disorders, especially those associated with altered synapse patterns and defects of neurotransmitter sections. It may also possess potential for studying diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, alcoholic fetoembryopathy, and senile dementia.

  • Specificity: It is an excellent marker for several neuroendocrine, neuronal and adrenal tumors, and reacts with synaptophysin, a transmembrane glycoprotein of presynaptic vesicles
  • Dilution range: 1:50 for Immunohistochemical application
  • It can reconstitute with 1,0 ml of distilled water

The antibody is in PBS buffer, pH 7,4, with 0,5% BSA, and 0,09% sodium azide.
