About this item
Laminin is purified from basement membrane matrix derived from Engelbreth-Holm- Swarm (EHS) mouse sarcoma. It is > 95% pure by SDS-PAGE.
- Storage Buffer: 0,05 M Tris, 0,15 M NaCl
Laminin must be stored frozen. At room temperature, it forms a gel. Thaw Laminin slowly at 0 to +4 °C in a refrigerator or an ice bath. Dilute in sterile distilled water or cell culture media to a volume that will allow the surface to be covered with 1 to 10 μg of Laminin. Allow the diluted Laminin to air dry and wash the surface with sterile media prior to use. Alternatively, the diluted Laminin can be added to the growth surface for 60 minutes, removed, and the cell suspension added. If desired, undiluted Laminin can be added to the surface and a gel will form if placed at 37 °C for more than 2 hours.
