Pyrex® borosilicate glass tissue grinder. Designed to handle both initial grinding and final homogenisation in the same sequence of operations.

The lower conical section is intended primarily for the initial grinding, while upper cylindrical section is for final homogenisation. To assist work the clearance between mortar and pestle can be adjusted by raising or lowering the pestle. All tissue grinders have a pour-out top.
