Boiling flasks with full length [ST] outer joints are manufactured from borosilicate glass.

• Very good chemical resistance
• High temperature resistance
• Minimal thermal expansion, giving relatively high resistance to temperature changes

With full length NS outer joints. Normal working temperature is 230 °C (446 °F). Heavy wall flasks feature walls that are 25 to 30% thicker than standard walls, for increased mechanical strength.
