Schaeffer and Fulton Spore Stain Solution A, Sigma-Aldrich®
Supplier: SIGMA ALDRICH MICROSCOPY
In Schaeffer-Fulton`s method, a primary stain-malachite green is forced into the spore by steaming the bacterial emulsion. Malachite green is water soluble and has a low affinity for cellular material, so vegetative cells may be decolorized with water. Ve

Wright-Giemsa stain modified
Supplier: SIGMA ALDRICH MICROSCOPY
When blood films are stained using Wright-Giemsa Stain, the white blood cell nucleus and cytoplasm take on the characteristic blue or pink coloration. The combination of purified eosin and thiazine dyes in the product eliminates inconsistent staining and yields reproducible chromogenic responses.

Gram's decolourising solution for Gram staining, Sigma-Aldrich®
Supplier: SIGMA ALDRICH MICROSCOPY
Gram staining is one of the most significant staining techniques in microbiology. Gram′s decolouriser solution is a mixture of ethanol and acetone. Gram′s decolouriser solution is used in Gram staining procedure, after the iodine step to remove the crystal violet dye. The decolouriser dissolves the lipid layer from the gram-negative cells.

Gram′s safranin solution for Gram staining, för mikroskopi, Sigma-Aldrich®
Supplier: SIGMA ALDRICH MICROSCOPY
Gram’s safranin solution, also known as Safranin T or Basic Red 2, is a ready-to-use staining solution that comprises 10% safranin in ethanol. Safranin is a basic, cationic, azine dye containing a planar, diaminophenazine chromophore, with a phenyl substituent attached to a ring nitrogen. The trimethyl cationic form of safranine is lipophilic, whereas the dimethyl forms are weakly hydrophilic. It is most notably used in bacteriology as a counterstain in Gram staining to differentiate between Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

Haemalum (Mayer's), Sigma-Aldrich®
Supplier: Merck
In hematoxylin-eosin staining (H&E), the most widely used histological staining technique, nuclear staining is achieved using ready-to-use staining solutions, such as Mayer’s hemalum solution or Hematoxylin solution modified according to Gill III. These solutions do not need to be filtrated prior use and the dye is oxidized in a controlled manner, which renders the results robust and allows a brilliant differentiation of the stained structures. Counterstaining of i.e. for proteins, collagen, keratin, intercellular substances. can be performed with alcoholic or aqueous Eosin Y solution 0.5 %. It is registered as IVD and CE certified product and can be used for clinical diagnostics.
